COMPETITION TERMS & CONDITIONS

Eligible Territory: Australia
These Terms and Conditions govern participation in the Challenge and eligibility for prizes offered in connection with the Challenge.
By entering the Challenge, participants agree to these Terms and Conditions.
1. Eligibility
1.1 Entry into the Challenge is open to Australian residents aged 18 years or over.
1.2 Employees, officers and contractors of the Promoter, and their immediate family members, may participate in the Challenge but are not eligible to win a prize.
1.3 Participants must provide accurate and complete information when registering for the Challenge.
1.4 The Promoter reserves the right to verify the identity, age, residency, purchase eligibility and Challenge participation of any participant before awarding a prize.
2. Challenge Registration
2.1 Registration for the 8-Week Body Transformation Challenge is free.
2.2 Participants must register through WEBSITE REGISTRATION PAGE during the registration period.
2.3 As part of registration, participants wishing to be eligible for the Major Prize – $4,500 Luxury Escapes Voucher must submit an answer of no more than 30 words to the following competition question:
"In 30 words or less, tell us why completing this 8-week transformation would make a positive difference to your life."
2.4 Entries exceeding 30 words may be deemed ineligible for the Major Prize at the Promoter's discretion.
2.5 Each participant may submit only one entry for the Major Prize.
3. Challenge Pack Purchase Requirement
3.1 Participation in the general 8-Week Body Transformation Challenge is free and does not require the purchase of a product.
3.2 However, to be eligible to receive any prize described in these Terms and Conditions, a participant must purchase at least one eligible Challenge Pack from the Promoter during the Challenge Period.
3.3 An "Eligible Challenge Pack" means any product bundle expressly identified by the Promoter as a qualifying Challenge Pack for the Challenge, including:
- Challenge Kickstart Pack
- Challenge Essentials Pack
- Challenge Excel Pack
or such other packs as may be expressly identified by the Promoter on the Challenge website.
3.4 The Eligible Challenge Pack must be purchased at its normal advertised retail or promotional price from https://maxinesburn.com. No separate fee is charged to enter either competition.
3.5 Purchasing more than one Eligible Challenge Pack does not provide additional entries, additional weighting, additional judging points or a greater opportunity of winning any prize.
3.6 Proof of purchase may be required before any prize is awarded.
3.7 Refunds, cancellations, chargebacks or returns of a qualifying purchase may result in the participant becoming ineligible for a prize.
4. Prize Categories
The Challenge contains two separate skill-based competition components:
A. Major Prize – $4,500 Luxury Escapes Voucher
One (1) Luxury Escapes Voucher valued at AUD $4,500 will be awarded as a game-of-skill prize.
The Major Prize is available to eligible participants who purchase an Eligible Challenge Pack during the Challenge Period and submit a valid 30-word-or-less competition response.
The winner is determined exclusively on the merits of their submitted response in accordance with the judging criteria in clause 5.
B. Body Transformation Prizes
Eligible participants may also compete for the following body transformation prizes:
Top 10 – Product Prize Pack valued up to AUD $250
The participants ranked in the Top 10 according to the Body Transformation Judging Criteria will each receive a Product Prize Pack valued up to AUD $250, subject to the upgraded prize arrangements below.
Top 3 – Upgraded Product Prize Pack valued up to AUD $400
Participants ranked 1st, 2nd and 3rd will each receive an upgraded Product Prize Pack valued up to AUD $400.
Grand Champion – Upgraded Product Prize Pack valued up to AUD $1,000
The participant ranked 1st overall and declared the Grand Champion will receive the Grand Champion Product Prize Pack valued up to AUD $1,000.
Cumulative / Upgraded Prize Pack Structure
The Body Transformation Prize Packs are cumulative in product composition but not awarded as multiple separate prize packs.
Higher-placing participants receive an upgraded version of the applicable Product Prize Pack rather than multiple separate Product Prize Packs.
Accordingly:
- participants ranked 4th to 10th receive the Top 10 Product Prize Pack valued up to AUD $250;
- participants ranked 2nd and 3rd receive the upgraded Top 3 Product Prize Pack valued up to AUD $400; and
- the participant ranked 1st and declared Grand Champion receives the upgraded Grand Champion Product Prize Pack valued up to AUD $1,000.
The upgraded packs may incorporate the products or benefits contained in the lower-tier pack together with additional bonus products or benefits appropriate to the participant's placing.
For example, the Grand Champion Product Prize Pack may comprise the Top 10 Product Prize Pack together with the applicable Top 3 and Grand Champion bonus items, with a total combined retail value of up to AUD $1,000.
For clarity, the Grand Champion does not receive separate $250, $400 and $1,000 prize packs. The Grand Champion receives one upgraded prize pack with a total value of up to AUD $1,000.
Similarly, participants ranked 2nd and 3rd do not receive separate $250 and $400 prize packs. They receive one upgraded prize pack with a total value of up to AUD $400.
5. Major Prize – $4,500 Luxury Escapes Voucher
5.1 One eligible participant will receive a Luxury Escapes Voucher valued at AUD $4,500.
5.2 To be eligible for the Major Prize, a participant must:
- satisfy the eligibility requirements in these Terms and Conditions;
- register for the Challenge within the required registration period;
- submit a valid response of 30 words or less to the competition question as part of their registration;
- purchase an Eligible Challenge Pack during the Challenge Period; and
- otherwise comply with these Terms and Conditions.
Major Prize Judging
5.3 The Major Prize competition is intended to operate as a game of skill and not a game of chance.
5.4 No random draw will be conducted.
5.5 Following the close of the Challenge Period, all eligible entries will be assessed by a judging panel appointed by the Promoter.
5.6 Each eligible 30-word response will be assessed according to the following criteria:
- Originality – 40%
- Creativity – 30%
- Relevance to the competition question – 30%
5.7 The eligible participant whose entry receives the highest overall score will be declared the Major Prize winner.
5.8 The judges' assessment will be based solely on the merits of the entry submitted and not on chance.
Major Prize Tie-Breaking
5.9 If two or more eligible entries receive the same overall score, the entry receiving the highest score for Originality will rank higher.
5.10 If those entries remain tied, the entry receiving the highest score for Creativity will rank higher.
5.11 If the entries remain tied after applying clauses 5.9 and 5.10, the judging panel will reassess the tied entries against the additional skill-based criterion of overall impact and persuasiveness.
5.12 No tie will be resolved by random selection or any other method involving chance.
6. Luxury Escapes Voucher Conditions
6.1 The Major Prize consists of a Luxury Escapes voucher with a maximum value of AUD $4,500.
6.2 The voucher is subject to Luxury Escapes' applicable voucher terms and conditions, including any booking, availability, redemption and expiry requirements.
6.3 The winner is responsible for reviewing and complying with the applicable Luxury Escapes voucher conditions.
6.4 Unless expressly included in the booking made using the voucher, the winner is responsible for any additional costs associated with their chosen travel arrangements, including any amount exceeding the voucher value, travel insurance, passports, visas, transfers, meals, taxes, fees and personal expenses.
6.5 The Promoter does not represent or guarantee that the $4,500 voucher will cover the entire cost of any particular holiday, destination, accommodation package, flight or itinerary selected by the winner.
6.6 The voucher is not transferable or exchangeable for cash except where permitted by Luxury Escapes or required by law.
6.7 Luxury Escapes is not responsible for the administration or judging of the Challenge unless expressly stated otherwise.
7. Body Transformation Prize Eligibility
7.1 The Top 10 Body Transformation Awards are determined separately from the Major Prize.
7.2 To be eligible for a Body Transformation Prize, a participant must:
- satisfy the eligibility requirements in these Terms and Conditions;
- purchase an Eligible Challenge Pack during the Challenge Period;
- complete the 8-Week Challenge;
- provide the required commencement and completion information;
- provide compliant before and after photographs;
- provide any Challenge progress information reasonably required by the Promoter;
- provide any required Transformation Story or Challenge submission; and
- otherwise comply with the Challenge rules and these Terms and Conditions.
7.3 A participant's 30-word Major Prize response will have no bearing on their Body Transformation judging score.
7.4 A participant's Body Transformation result will have no bearing on judging of the Major Prize.
7.5 It is possible for the same participant to win the Major Prize and also receive a Body Transformation Prize if they independently satisfy the applicable judging criteria for both competitions.
8. Body Transformation Judging Criteria
8.1 The Body Transformation Prizes are skill and merit-based awards and are not determined by chance.
8.2 No random draw will be used to determine the Top 10, Top 3 or Grand Champion.
8.3 All eligible transformations will be assessed by a judging panel appointed by the Promoter.
8.4 Body measurements do not form part of the judging criteria. Participants will therefore not receive or lose judging points based on kilograms lost, centimetres lost or percentage changes in body measurements.
8.5 Eligible transformations will be assessed according to the following criteria:
A. Overall Visible Transformation – 50%
Judges will assess the overall degree and quality of physical transformation demonstrated between the participant's compliant commencement and completion photographs.
Judges may consider the overall visible change demonstrated across the Challenge period, including changes in physique, body composition, muscular definition, conditioning and overall physical appearance.
The assessment is based on the degree and quality of transformation relative to the participant's own starting point and is not intended to reward any particular body type, starting weight or absolute body size.
B. Challenge Adherence and Completion – 20%
Judges will consider the participant's demonstrated consistency, commitment and completion of the Challenge requirements.
This may include consideration of required check-ins, completion of prescribed Challenge activities, progress tracking and demonstrated consistency throughout the eight-week Challenge.
C. Transformation Story – 20%
Participants may be required to provide a written account explaining their Challenge experience.
Judges may consider the participant's:
- commitment to the Challenge;
- consistency throughout the eight weeks;
- approach to achieving their transformation;
- challenges or obstacles overcome;
- positive lifestyle changes made during the Challenge; and
- overall Challenge experience.
The Transformation Story will be assessed for relevance, authenticity and the extent to which it demonstrates the participant's commitment and transformation throughout the Challenge.
D. Quality and Consistency of Progress Documentation – 10%
Judges will assess the quality, consistency and completeness of the participant's Challenge documentation.
This may include progress photographs, required check-ins and other documentation required under the Challenge rules.

9. Determination of Top 10, Top 3 and Grand Champion
9.1 Each eligible Body Transformation entry will be scored against the criteria specified in clause 8.
9.2 The ten participants receiving the highest overall judging scores will be declared the Top 10 Body Transformation Winners.
9.3 Of those Top 10 participants:
- the participants ranked 1st, 2nd and 3rd will be declared the Top 3 Body Transformation Winners; and
- the participant ranked 1st overall will additionally be declared the Grand Champion.
9.4 Rankings will be determined solely by the published judging criteria and will not involve chance.
9.5 If two or more participants receive the same overall score at a position relevant to determining the Top 10, Top 3 or Grand Champion, the participant receiving the higher score for Overall Visible Transformation will rank higher.
9.6 If the participants remain tied, the participant receiving the higher Transformation Story score will rank higher.
9.7 If they remain tied, the judging panel will reassess the tied transformations against the additional skill-based criterion of overall transformation impact.
9.8 No tie will be determined randomly.
10. Body Transformation Prize Values
10.1 The Body Transformation Prize structure is:
- 4th–10th place: Product Prize Pack valued up to AUD $250 each.
- 2nd–3rd place: Upgraded Product Prize Pack valued up to AUD $400 each.
- 1st place / Grand Champion: Upgraded Product Prize Pack valued up to AUD $1,000.
10.2 Prize pack values are based on the Promoter's recommended retail price ("RRP") of the products comprising each pack at the time the prize structure is finalised.
10.3 Higher-placing participants receive an upgraded prize pack rather than multiple separate prize packs.
10.4 The maximum aggregate retail value of the Body Transformation Product Prize Packs, based on the above structure, is:
- 7 × $250 = $1,750;
- 2 × $400 = $800; and
- 1 × $1,000 = $1,000;
for a maximum total Body Transformation Prize Pool of AUD $3,550.
10.5 Together with the AUD $4,500 Major Prize, the maximum total prize pool for the Challenge is AUD $8,050.
10.6 Product Prize Packs are not transferable or redeemable for cash unless required by law.
10.7 Products are subject to availability. If a particular product becomes unavailable, the Promoter may substitute a reasonably equivalent product of equal or greater value, subject to applicable law.
11. Before and After Photographs
11.1 Participants seeking eligibility for a Body Transformation Prize must submit commencement and completion photographs in accordance with the Promoter's published photography requirements.
11.2 Requirements may include:
- front photograph;
- side photograph;
- back photograph;
- consistent positioning;
- substantially similar clothing;
- adequate and reasonably consistent lighting;
- unobstructed visibility of the participant;
- photographs taken within the designated commencement and completion windows; and
- inclusion of any verification method nominated by the Promoter.
11.3 Photographs must not be digitally manipulated, materially retouched or altered in a way that misrepresents the participant's transformation.
11.4 The Promoter may request original image files, metadata or additional evidence reasonably required to verify the authenticity and timing of photographs.
11.5 Failure to provide satisfactory verification may result in disqualification from the Body Transformation Prizes.
12. Fair Participation
12.1 Participants must complete the Challenge honestly and in accordance with the published Challenge rules.
12.2 Participants must not falsify photographs, purchase records, Challenge documentation or other information.
12.3 The Promoter may disqualify a participant where it reasonably believes that the participant has:
- provided false or misleading information;
- manipulated photographs;
- falsified Challenge records or documentation;
- attempted to interfere with the judging process;
- entered using multiple identities;
- engaged in conduct intended to obtain an unfair advantage; or
- otherwise materially breached these Terms and Conditions.
13. Judging and Decisions
13.1 The Promoter will appoint suitably qualified or experienced persons to the judging panel.
13.2 Judges will assess eligible entries against the published criteria applicable to each competition.
13.3 The judges' decisions are final, subject to applicable law.
13.4 The Promoter will maintain reasonable records of the judging process.
13.5 The Promoter may request further information from a potential winner for the purpose of verifying eligibility before confirming a prize.
13.6 The Major Prize and Body Transformation Prizes will be judged separately in accordance with their respective judging criteria.
14. Winner Notification
14.1 Winners will be determined between 20/11/2026 and 23/11/2026.
14.2 Winners will be contacted using the email address and/or telephone number provided during Challenge registration within 5 business days after judging is completed.
14.3 Winners may also be announced on the Maxine’s website and/or Maxine’s social media channels, subject to applicable privacy and legal requirements.
14.4 A potential winner must satisfy all eligibility and verification requirements before their prize is confirmed.
14.5 If a selected entrant is found to be ineligible, the applicable prize may be awarded to the next highest-scoring eligible entrant based on the relevant judging criteria.
15. Health and Safety
15.1 The Challenge provides general fitness, lifestyle and/or nutritional information and is not intended to replace individual medical advice.
15.2 Participants are responsible for determining whether participation in the Challenge and use of any products is appropriate for their individual circumstances.
15.3 Participants should seek appropriate professional advice before materially changing their exercise, nutrition or supplementation practices, particularly where they have health concerns or are taking medication.
15.4 Participants must follow the directions, warnings and recommended usage instructions appearing on any product supplied or purchased.
15.5 The Promoter does not encourage unsafe weight-loss practices, dehydration, excessive exercise, starvation, misuse of supplements or any other dangerous practice for the purpose of improving Challenge results.
15.6 The judging criteria are intended to recognise genuine transformation achieved during the Challenge period and do not reward unsafe practices.
16. Publicity and Transformation Content
16.1 Participation in the Challenge does not, by itself, give the Promoter unrestricted rights to use a participant's image for advertising.
16.2 Where the Promoter wishes to publish a participant's before and after photographs, Transformation Story, testimonial, name, likeness, video or other identifiable content for promotional purposes, the Promoter will obtain any consent required by applicable law.
16.3 Any separate media or publicity consent requested by the Promoter will specify the intended use of that content.
17. Privacy
17.1 Personal information collected in connection with the Challenge will be handled in accordance with the Promoter's Privacy Policy available at https://maxinesburn.com/policies/privacy-policy.
17.2 Information may be collected for purposes including:
- administering the Challenge;
- confirming eligibility;
- verifying purchases;
- conducting judging;
- communicating with participants;
- fulfilling prizes; and
- complying with legal obligations.
17.3 Photographs, body-related information and other personal or sensitive information collected for Challenge administration will be handled in accordance with applicable privacy requirements.
18. Intellectual Property in Competition Entries
18.1 Participants retain ownership of their original 30-word Major Prize response and original Transformation Content.
18.2 By submitting an entry, participants grant the Promoter a non-exclusive licence to use the entry to the extent reasonably necessary to administer and judge the Challenge and announce the winners.
18.3 Any broader marketing or advertising use of identifiable participant content will be subject to clause 16.
19. No Element of Chance
19.1 All prizes offered under these Terms and Conditions are intended to be awarded based on skill and merit.
19.2 The Major Prize – $4,500 Luxury Escapes Voucher – will be determined according to the 30-word entry judging criteria in clause 5.
19.3 The Top 10, Top 3 and Grand Champion Body Transformation Prizes will be determined according to the Body Transformation Judging Criteria in clauses 8 and 9.
19.4 No prize winner will be selected by random draw or any other method involving chance.
19.5 Purchasing additional Challenge Packs, purchasing additional products or spending additional amounts will not increase an entrant's judging score or likelihood of winning.
19.6 The Promoter will not randomly select finalists, randomly select a winner from the highest-scoring entrants or use chance as a tie-breaking mechanism.
20. General
20.1 The Promoter reserves the right to verify entries and disqualify entries that do not comply with these Terms and Conditions.
20.2 If circumstances outside the Promoter's reasonable control prevent the Challenge or competition from proceeding as planned, the Promoter may modify, suspend or cancel the promotion to the extent permitted by law.
20.3 Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable legislation.
20.4 The Promoter is not responsible for entries that are lost, delayed, corrupted or not received due to technical problems outside its reasonable control.
20.5 Any provision of these Terms and Conditions that is invalid or unenforceable will be severed to the extent necessary without affecting the remaining provisions.
