Vanilla Gluten Free Porridge
PROTEIN: 25G | CARBS: 50G | FAT: 10G
SERVES: 1 PERSON
Ingredients
- 30g Quinoa flakes
- 70g Banana, mashed
- 5g Chia seeds
- 100mls Water
- 100mls Almond milk
- 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract
- Stevia drops (sweeten to your liking)
- 20g Vanilla Protein Powder (I used Maxine's Burn - Vanilla Ice Cream Flavour)
- 30g Vanilla Yoghurt (I used YoPro)
TOP WITH:
- 50g Strawberries, diced
- 20g Blueberries
- 5g Peanut Butter, mixed with a little water (so it is runny)
- 2g Cacao Nibs
Instructions
1. Place the quinoa flakes, banana, chia seeds, water, almond milk, cinnamon, vanilla and stevia into a pot and place over a medium heat on the stove.
2. Stir until the porridge is boiling and then reduce heat and stir for another 1-2 minutes. Turn off heat.
3. Stir in the protein powder and the yoghurt until combined.
4. Place porridge into a serving bowl and top with strawberries, blueberries, cacao nibs and a drizzle of peanut butter.
5. Serve and enjoy!
