1. EXPECT TO DO THE WORK.
The program gives you the structure. The food gives you the fuel. You have to bring the execution.
2. EXPECT TO BE CONSISTENT.
Results don't come from being perfect Monday to Friday and starting again every weekend. They come from consistently doing the basics.
3. EXPECT TO TRUST THE PROGRAM.
You've been given a plan for a reason. Follow it properly before deciding it isn't working. Give your body the opportunity to respond.
4. EXPECT TO EAT THE FOOD PROVIDED.
You don't need to reinvent the wheel. The meals are there to make things easier. Follow the plan, learn your portions and understand what you're putting into your body.
5. EXPECT TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY.
If you aren't following the plan, own it. If you're skipping sessions, own it. If you're picking at food all day, own it. No blame. No excuses. Just adjust and move forward.
6. EXPECT THE SCALE TO FLUCTUATE.
Your weight will not drop perfectly every week. Look at the bigger picture and keep doing what you know works.
7. EXPECT TO HAVE DAYS WHEN YOU DON'T FEEL LIKE IT.
That's where discipline comes in. You don't need to feel motivated to keep your commitment.
8. EXPECT TO BE HONEST WITH YOURSELF.
If you're doing everything consistently and something isn't working, we can assess it. But first, make sure you're actually doing everything consistently.
9. EXPECT TO BE SUPPORTED — AND EXPECT TO SUPPORT YOURSELF.
The Maxine's community, coaches and program are here to help you. But nobody can make your choices for you. You are responsible for your results.
10. EXPECT RESULTS FROM EFFORT.
You already know what works: good nutrition, training, movement, recovery and consistency. There is no need to constantly chase the next quick fix.
Don't blame the program.
Don't blame the food.
Don't blame your circumstances.
Look at your own consistency first.
Then ask yourself:
“Have I genuinely done the work?”
If the answer is yes — keep going.
If the answer is no — that's OK too.
Own it. Reset. Get back to work.
That's discipline.
That's what this 8 week challenge is really about.
