Chocolate and Raspberry Proats

Who loves oats, chocolate and raspberries??? Yes! Why don't you try these chocolate & raspberry proats? What are proats you ask? Well I am glad you asked! They are hot oats with cooked egg whites added into them which makes them nice and creamy!!!! And not to mention OMG delicious!!! Have a play around with cooking them as all microwaves cook differently but at the end of the day once you can see that your egg whites have cooked into a solid consistency then you are done cooking them in the microwave. INGREDIENTS

  • 40g instant rolled oats
  • 25g Protein powder (I used Maxine’s Burn vanilla ice cream flavour)
  • 2tsp sugar free drinking chocolate
  • 60g liquid egg whites
  • 30g raspberries
  • 60g blueberries
  • 1/2tsp cinnamon
  • 10g peanut butter
  • 50g greek yoghurt, plain no fat

METHOD

  1. Cook oats and 11/2 cups of water in a safe uncovered microwave bowl for 2 minutes.
  2. Once oats are cooked, stir in egg whites and mash the raspberries through the oat mixture.
  3. Cook in the microwave on 20 sec increments (and stir each time) until the consistency is nice and creamy.
  4. Stir in protein power and the drinking chocolate.
  5. Place oats in a serving bowl and top with blueberries, greek yoghurt and peanut butter.
