COVID-19 Shipping Delays
We are also dealing with the impacts of the Delta strain and in any given day, our freight partners have close to 500 people out of our workforce as they follow necessary self-isolation and testing before clearance back to work.
This is putting increased pressure on freight networks as they manage staff shortages, temporary facility closures, and parcel volumes as high as Christmas peak period.
Our freight partners will continue to deliver as quickly and safely as they can, but please understand delivery delays may be experienced due to staff restrictions and other COVID-19 related issues currently effecting freight networks across Australia.
